Weekend Update 29th August

Great weekend for Top Dog 2020 qualifying. It was fantastic to see so many changing their arm/clubs for a shot at glory. We were also very lucky to have a range of younger players in the field, most of which qualified (I think).

As usual we again have controversy with cards. Members do struggle to record scores on cards and in the computer system. I have spent a lot of time this weekend going through cards to find that counting errors and knowing what your NETT score on a hole should be. Errors between your card and the computer count are common and must be corrected. This is the players responsibility and needs your attention immediately.

Congratulations to the haggle winners this week:

  1. Dion Howells

  2. Pete Shearer

  3. Mike Taylor

  4. Terry Johnson

Egmont Champs next week. A club event this year as the Taranaki programme forgot us. Best gross and best nett events. Be in.

1st round of Top Dog is the 12th of September. A set of raffle tickets are available with the draw held after round one.
