The last round of club champ qualifying was played last Saturday in windy and cold conditions.
Top qualifiers are; Roy Wills, D. Banham; Juniors, C. Merson; Intermediates, S. Ngatai and Seniors T. Cawley.
The match play draws will be on the notice board this week, and all players will be contacted re start time for the first round on 10/09/16.
The winner of the Yardley Cup for best 3 nett scores in the qualifying rounds is L. Eagar and T. Cawley won the Armstrong Cup for best gross.
Haggle results for the day, Division 1; S. Ngatai net 69, N. Bertie and L. Eagar net 71 and G. Kite net 72. Division 2; P. Shearer net 67, D. Bates net 69, C. Merson and T. Walsh net 71. Twos were scored by; G. Kite, N. Jeffrey, K. Johns, M. Walsh & M. McDonald.
Saturday 3 Sept. will be qualifying for the Taranaki Top Club competition. This is a stableford comp with senior, intermediate, junior and ladies divisions.
The Taranaki final is at Manaia on 25th September.
Egmont Champs are on Sunday 11th September with a 36 (Gross and nett) or 18 hole Stableford) competition. Start time sheet is in the club house or ring TC for a start time.
