Cooksley Summer Champion

After a great display of shoot making and nerves during the second round, Terry Cooksley is this years’ Summer Cup champion.

His two round nett total of 132 was three shots ahead of Tony Cawley and Don Shearman on 135. Shearman was in the hunt until clipping the trees on the last and ending up in the hazard losing the chance of a birdie.

The medal comp on the day was won by S. Langton and Tony Cawley with net 66, with Mike Taylor and Pat Moore on 67.

Saturday 18 February is the first of two rounds for the Graham Cup.

This a two man ambrose and if you haven’t got a partner, check in with the starter and it will be arranged.

Ladies Golf

On Tuesday 7th February 2017 the Ladies played Hope Penn. Best Nett was Pauline Downs with 70 followed by Bobbie Oliver and Debbie Volzke with 71. Bobbie Oliver had a Two. The Summer Cup was won by Janice Walton and the Summer ecelctics was won by Pauline. Next week 21 February 2017 the course is closed. Best score of the day on Saturday 11 February 2017 was Jennifer Patterson with 37 Stablefords and Jennifer had a Two.
