Covid 19 - SGC Level 3 Playing Conditions

We are pleased to now confirm that limited playing of golf will be possible at Alert Level 3 at STRATFORD GOLF CLUB.

The following conditions will apply and anyone not following the rules will be asked to leave or may be reported to the police.

  1. All visitors and members intending to visit the golf club whether playing or not must register to enable contact tracing if required. Please see registration and booking details on our website @ or contact 0276202106

  2. A required condition is that we must be able to control access to the course to avoid large congregations. You will therefore be required to prebook your playing time before coming to the course. No booking no play. Please see registration and booking details on our website @ or contact 0276202106

  3. You must arrive ready to play and leave the facility immediately after play.

  4. Play is only possible for those playing alone or playing with others from within their bubble. Do not arrange to meet anyone else to play.

  5. The clubhouse and toilets will be closed to everyone (only available to be accessed and used by essential staff on site).

  6. No scorecards will be physically issued prior to play nor returned after play. Dot Golf Kiosk and Printer will be disabled

  7. No scores will be accepted by the NZG handicapping system at Alert Level 3.

  8. Players must maintain a minimum distance of at least two metres between themselves and other players on course who are not in their bubble.

  9. The practise green is not to be used to avoid congregations ( See rule 3)

  10. Equipment cannot be shared unless used by people inside the same bubble.

  11. No Stratford Golf Club Golf Carts will be available for hire during Level 3. Private carts are permitted as long as owned and used by people in the same bubble

  12. Greenkeeper has right of way. Please respect his social distancing.

  13. Flags and rakes have been removed for your safety
