Unbelievably last weekend we were rained out again for the 4th Saturday in a row with the course unplayable, one match did get underway early and are through 11 holes which sees James and Billy 5 up over Grandad and Nick, just a quick note if you get in these sorts of conditions where it is unplayable don't feel forced to keep continuing, when you are the only ones on the course that should be a pretty big hint.
This Saturday/Sunday is our Labour weekend pairs and after taking a lot of early entries we have lost some to the rugby and other commitments, nonetheless the weekend is saying fine and we know how much fun the Ambrose format is and with a 50% payout of the field bring your A game and you should be in the money, don't forget there will be raffles along with a Calcutta.
We are still accepting entries and I have the draw posted below for a mass start at 10.30am.
Saturday November the 4th is the 100 Club Comp, thanks to all who have now responded and a massive thanks to all that have kept their ticket or are joining us for the first time, I still have two tickets left for anyone who wants to play or just have a ticket to try their luck in the draws so give me a call if that's you.
Twilight is on Wednesday kicking off from 4 onwards, the first two nights saw 69 and 72 players turn up which is fantastic, weather by tomorrow afternoon should be well on the improve after lunch so get amongst it.
