Rutherford Cup

Saturday was a perfect day for golf and it was great to have a field of 47 enter the Haggle. The scores were fantastic with the conditions so good and it's a massive congratulations to Mark Midgely who leap frogged the first round leaders with a stunning 43 points to shoot his best ever round and ended up with a combined total of 82 points. In second place on 79 points we had Paul Dodunski followed by both Nick Callingham and Chris Lord on 77. Special mention to for Randy Aldridge who missed the first round but did well in the haggle with 44 points.

We had our second lucky draw of the year but sadly for Duncan MacDonald he was not there so the $20 jackpots to $40 at the next Men's Saturday haggle, to win there you must be there for prize giving.

Congratulations to our men's pennant team who got off to a winning start against Hawera at the Te Ngutu golf course scoring a convincing win.

This Saturday Is the Lions Charity 2 person Ambrose tournament, a great field is assembling with nearly 80 already entered, if you wish to be part of it please get those entries to me ASAP.
