Saturday saw the 2nd round of the Rutherford Memorial being played in perfect conditions, the greens were freshly cored and dethatched during the week but still putted very well.
The scoring reflected a tight competition with 1st round leader Chris Merson dropping back to 4th overall and Kerry Kretschmar leap frogging to the top of the list winning on countback from Murray Cook with both tied on 76 points followed by Olly Campbell and Chris Merson on 75.
Daily winner of the haggle was Jade Hintz with a whopping 44 points chased closely by Barry Knowles with 43 points and surprise package POP Shearer with 42 points in 3rd.
This Saturday we will be holding the Club Shootout so assembly time is by 11 if you wish to enter, for the other players there will be a haggle , there will be no draw this week so you can play with your mates but be advisable to tee off before 11.30 so not to stuck behind shootout.
Remember 1st Saturday of April is the first out of Stroke Play Championships
