Sorry for the lack of an update last week after the first round of strokeplay, after losing our scheduled first week due to sand supply issues after coring we are now running a week behind the program but no doubt we will get back on track over the next few weeks.
Attached are the results from the 3 divisions after the first two rounds with some handy leads for Jordan in seniors and Mark in the Intermediates, the Juniors look very interesting with everyone trying not to win it looking at the scores and a very shocked Gonzo after his second round found he was leading.
The final round of Strokeplay is the Saturday after Easter which is the 15th of April then we will dive straight into Matchplay.
This year for matchplay there is no qualifying and anyone who is a full member is eligible to enter, seeding will be done off your index at the close of the 3rd round of Strokeplay, I am now calling for entries so I can get all the draws out by the 20th April, if you don't contact me to enter you simply won't be in so txt me on 021936082 to confirm you wish to play, Matchplay will start on the 29th of April but there may be some byes for the smaller fields and for those that wish they can play their match on ANZAC weekend if that suits.
This Saturday for Easter we will have a Nett Haggle off the white tees, there will be no draw so just turn up and we will assist where needed if you need a group to play with.
