Club Champs Qualifying Round One


The first qualifying round for the club match play championships was played on Saturday 13th. Leading players are; Seniors, T. Cawley followed by T. Johnson;

Intermediates, K. Stanners followed by B. Gibbons & J. Erwood; Juniors, C. Merson followed by V. Jones and in the Roy Wills division, D. Banham followed by C. Millar.

The medal haggle winners in division 1 were; L. Eager and K. Stanners with a net 70 and T. Johnson on 71. Division 2 winners were; T. Walsh, B. Daysh and C. Merson with net 71

Entries are now been taken for the Egmont Championship which will be played on Sunday 11th September. There will be the 36 hole championship as well as an 18 hole stableford competition. The tournament is open to ladies and men.

A starting time sheet is in the club house for those wishing to play.
