Captains Trophy

An awesome day presented itself for the final round of Captains Trophy that saw a tremendous battle for the top spot between Geoff Otterson and Roger Kilpatrick.

Both finished tied on 75 stableford points for the two rounds with Geoff pipping Roger on countback. Special mention to Geoff finishing birdie, eagle to tie Roger.

Other prize winners on Saturday were Brad Gibbons, Vaughan Jones, Terry Johnson, Henry Morton, Nigel Jeffries, Terrance Sayers, Brian Price, Graham Bishop and mike Willis, so come and see me if you haven't got your prize yet. Saturday is a Nett Haggle.

Next Saturday is Kelly Cup which is off the red tees which provides more of a challenge than most realize, I am also taking entries for the Egmont Champs on the 21st of August so secure your tee time for that ASAP.

The top eight who will fight out for the Fedex Cup and Prize money have now been decided after 5 qualifying rounds and they are as follows in their qualifying order; Tony Cawley, Chris Drummond, Murray Cook, Mike Walsh, Olly Campbell, Roger Kilpatrick, Vaughan Jones and Geoff Otterson.

The following are the reserve players in their finishing order Barry Knowles, Dion Howells, Matt McDonald and Brad Gibbons
