First rounds of the Spedding & Ennis cups were held on Saturday. Greg Anderson with nett 68, this heading the Spedding field and Michael Taylor in Ennis Cup with nett 71. The rest of us battle our way around the weekly haggle, which produces some interesting stories and tales. You need to be in the clubhouse to hear them of course.

One round of these cups to go then a quiet period with some different events suitable to the heavy conditions planned.

Well done to Greg and course staff for keeping the course in good knick. I know it's not easy but you are doing a great job.
